Moskvich 3e electric crossover should be on sale on December 26th. This was announced by Deputy Mayor of Moscow, Maxim Liksutov, by adding that the next year it is planned to produce 50,000 Moskvich 3e cars, among which 10,000 are electric, TASS agency writes. Recall that JAC Sehol E40X model was taken as the basis for the Moskvich 3e electric crossover. The novelty will receive an electric engine with a capacity of 68 hp and a battery capacity of 55 kWh, by providing a cruising range without recharging of 410 km. "As for Moskvich 3e electric crossover, the demand for electric cars in our country is really small, but it is constantly growing. In addition, there is a free niche in the market - affordable (up to 2 million rubles) electric vehicles. But it's completely empty here. Although with the help of the preferential car loan program, you can get a discount on the purchase of an electric car in the amount of 925 thousand rubles, but this amount is actually "leveled" due to the "appetite" of banks and insurance companies.
So, with the estimated price of Moskvich 3e electric crossover at 3 million rubles, there are no serious advantages over the Evolute models (there are no other competitors yet). And in this case, you have to rely only on corporate clients - the taxi and car sharing companies, but most importantly, on a variety of officials, who, I think, may soon be transferred to electric vehicles," says Igor Morzharetto, editor-in-chief of Radio Avtodor.
