Moscow Automobile Plant "Moskvich" has completed the selection of partners for the dealer network in Moscow. By the end of the year, shipment of cars will begin at 11 dealerships: ROLF Khimki, Avtomir Ozernaya, Avilon Volgogradsky Prospekt, Major Novorizhskoye Highway, ROLF Center, AVTOMIR Yaroslavskoye Highway, Avilon Legend TTK, Kuntsevo Shopping Center, Petrovsky Belaya Dacha, Avtorus Izmailovo, Avtopassazh, press-service of the automaker reports. As noted, the main criteria in choosing partners was compliance with modern standards of the automotive business, readiness to create an infrastructure for demonstrating, selling and servicing electric vehicles, the ability to provide a high level of technical service and introduce quality standards for both service departments and sales departments, readiness to provide a high level customer service. In addition, the choice was influenced by transport accessibility, good visibility of the building and ease of access to it, as well as the configuration of the showroom.

According to Dmitry Pronin, General Director of the Moscow Automobile Plant Moskvich, the Moskvich dealer network will expand to major Russian cities with a population of one million next year and, as the production volumes increase, will increase its presence in the Russian market. Recall that the compact crossover Moskvich 3 will be the first to go on sale, which will be available at a price of 1 million 970 thousand rubles. Currently, its electric version Moskvich 3e is being prepared for launch. "Regarding the plans of the Moskvich plant it will produce 50,000 and 100,000 cars in 2023 and 2024, respectively - it all depends on the state of our car market. The weighted forecast for the next year is about 800 thousand new cars, among which 400-500 thousand will belong to the share of AVTOVAZ.

Apart from Moskvich, in 2023 we do not expect new serious players among domestic manufacturers (I only know about plans for 2024-2025). So, the metropolitan enterprise has serious chances in the next two years to take its rightful place in the market and fulfill its plans. If only it will be possible to expand the lineup and keep an acceptable price. Otherwise, it will be very difficult to compete with other Chinese manufacturers who are very active in our market, offering new models, brands, as well as discounts. However, there is still a political factor that can ruin all plans in one day, but here I can’t predict anything," says Igor Morzharetto, editor-in-chief of Radio Avtodor.
