A new production of auto body parts has opened in Moscow

On December 19th, Alfa Automative Technologies opened a plant in Moscow for the production of body parts for cars and commercial vehicles. Investments in the implementation of the project were about 3 billion rubles, according to the press service of the Moscow government. Construction of a new plant of the AAT Company with an area of 36.6 thousand square meters began in the summer of 2018 and ended in 2022. To implement the project, Moscow government provided a land plot of 3.25 hectares in the south of Moscow in the Biryulyovo Zapadnoye district. 112 units of modern industrial equipment have been installed at the production facility, including cold stamping lines and presses, a cutting and blanking press line, numerically controlled machining centers, and a coordinate measuring machine. The commissioning of the new plant will create 330 highly qualified jobs in the capital. The engineering competencies of specialists allow the production of over 150 types of stamped parts.

The enterprise uses only Russian raw materials - metal products of PJSC Severstal (Cherepovets), Magnitogorsk and Novolipetsk metallurgical plants. The plant will produce up to 12 million parts per a year for more than 250,000 passenger car sets. In 2023, an increase in production capacity utilization to 60-70% is expected due to contracts with AVTOVAZ and the Chinese manufacturer Haval, as well as orders from PSMA Rus, UzAuto and FSUE NAMI. In the future, Moscow Automobile Plant Moskvich may also become a consumer of AAT products.
