Electric liftback Mercedes-Benz EQS appeared in Russia

Russian dealers have begun the sales of Mercedes-Benz EQS electric liftback, which has not been officially presented in our country, but is supplied under the parallel import scheme. So, in one large Moscow dealership, a version with two engines with a total output of 524 hp is available for purchase. Such car accelerates to 100 km / h for 4.3 seconds, the Autonews.ru portal writes. Electric units work together with a 400-volt battery with 107.8 kWh, which allows you to drive up to 770 km without recharging. The price of this car is 15 million 375 thousand rubles.

Mercedes-Benz EQS has inherited a number of styling cues from the concept car of the same name shown in September 2019 at the Frankfurt Motor Show. The length of the electric car was 5265 mm, which makes it close in size to the new generation S-Class with an extended wheelbase. The drag coefficient was 0.20. As for the interior, its main feature was the new MBUX Hyperscreen multimedia system with a huge 56-inch screen across the entire width of the front panel. It combines three displays: a 12.3-inch virtual instrument cluster, a 17-inch multimedia touchscreen and a 12.3-inch touchscreen for the front passenger. All physical buttons and switches, the number of which is minimized, are located on the central panel.
