Moskvich Automobile Plant announced the cost of its first model, the Moskvich 3 compact crossover. The novelty will be available at a price of 1 million 970 thousand rubles, the press service of the automaker reports. At the first stage, cars will be sold by 11 dealer centers in Moscow, and the next year Moskvich dealer network will be expanded to major Russian cities with a million population and, as production volumes increase, will increase its presence in the Russian market. Recall that Moskvich 3 compact crossover is a converted version of the JAC JS4. The dimensions of the model are 4410 mm long, 1800 mm wide and 1660 mm high with a wheelbase of 2620 mm. The engine range of the front-wheel drive SUV includes a 1.5-liter petrol turbo engine developing 150 hp, as well as a 1.6-liter naturally aspirated engine with a capacity of 109 hp. Both units are offered at the choice of buyers in combination with either a 6-speed "mechanics" or a CVT.

As for the equipment, for the novelty, in particular, LED optics, roof rails, light-alloy wheels with a diameter of 17 inches, a multifunction steering wheel with electric power and cruise control unit, an electromechanical parking brake with an auto-hold function, as well as an electric tailgate are available. In addition, the car can be equipped with a digital instrument panel with a 10.25" display and a multimedia system with a touch screen of the same size with the ability to connect to smartphones via Apple CarPlay / Android Auto protocols, as well as 6 speakers, a surround camera system and an electric moonroof.

Denis Reshetnikov, head of the dealership of the Fresh Auto car dealership network, notes that the main competitors of the Moskvich 3 compact crossover will be Haval Jolion, Chery Tiggo 4 PRO, Geely Coolray. Now the Russian market has a serious shortage of about 800,000 vehicles in the SUV B+ segment. These are Hyundai Creta, Renault Duster, Renault Captur. And "Moskvich 3", according to the logic of the manufacturer, should become one of the ways to reduce this deficit.
