Kazakhstan car market grew by 22% in November 2022

In November, 12,246 new cars and commercial vehicles were sold in Kazakhstan, which is 22.2% higher than a year ago. As noted in the Association of Kazakhstan Auto Business (AKAB), the redistribution of market shares associated with the problems of deliveries of Russian-made cars continues. The share of cars localized in Kazakhstan is still growing, at the same time, Chinese brands are increasing their presence in the republic: four of the ten best-selling car brands in November are from China.

For 11 months of 2022, residents of the republic purchased 109,990 cars, which is 2.9% higher than in the same period of the previous year. Chevrolet remains the leader in the Kazakhstan car market in November, the result of which was 3,127 cars (+39.4%). Second place is kept by Hyundai, which increased its sales 3.5 times to 3,083 vehicles. The third place is occupied by Kia - cars of this brand were sold in the amount of 1,718 units (+86.9%). Chery is the next with 767 sold cars. Toyota still finishes the top five, its dealers sold 698 vehicles (-46%).
