In November, Russians bought used cars by 5% more than in October

According to the data of the AUTOSTAT agency, in November 2022, the residents of the Russian Federation bought a little more than 460 thousand used cars. This figure is the highest this year and exceeds the level of October by 5%. Recall that the secondary market in our country grew from month to month for the period from June to September. In the first month of autumn, it peaked (459.4 thousand units), but decreased in October (to 437 thousand units). However, if we compare the figure for November with what it was a year ago (in November of 2021), then it turns out to be lower by 6.4%.

At the same time, agency experts note that this is not such a serious drop in compare with the previous months: October - minus 23.8% (against October 2021), September - minus 20.2%. The reason is that in November of the previous year the secondary market volume was not very high - less than 500 thousand units.
