New crossover Hyundai Venue appeared in Russia

On the Russian classifieds, there were announcements for the sale of a new subcompact crossover Hyundai Venue, which has not been officially presented in our country before, but is imported under the parallel import scheme. The cost of the model ranges from 1.7 million to 2.1 million rubles, but the exact price of the car will be announced to the buyer on the day the contract is concluded - in accordance with the current exchange rate, Rossiyskaya Gazeta writes.

Hyundai Venue is the smallest crossover in the global range of the Korean brand. It debuted in 2019, with the Asian and American versions measuring 4040mm while the Indian version is 3995mm. The Venue engine range includes a 1.2-liter naturally aspirated engine with a capacity of 82 hp paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox, a 115-horsepower diesel engine, working in combination with a 6-speed "mechanics" or "automatic", as well as a 1-liter turbo engine with a return of 118 hp, which can be selected as with an automatic transmission , and with the preselective "robot".

It is worth noting that this summer the model has undergone restyling. The car received a modified front end with a "frameless" grille, new lights connected to each other, and bumpers of a different design. In the cabin, digital instruments appeared instead of turnouts, as well as a new multimedia system.

As AUTOSTAT previously reported, on the Russian classifieds there were announcements about the sale of a new subcompact crossover Hyundai Casper, supplied under the parallel import scheme. It is worth noting that Hyundai did not announce its withdrawal from the Russian market, although it extended the downtime at the plant in St. Petersburg until December (according to some reports, the production is being prepared for conservation). Moreover, new Hyundai cars continue to be shipped from South Korea legally, and not through parallel imports. So, for example, at the end of October, a large lot of Hyundai Tucson crossovers was shipped to official dealers.
