EXEED LX received an all-wheel drive version in Russia

Russian EXEED dealers have begun the accepting of orders for a new modification of the EXEED LX AWD compact crossover equipped with an all-wheel drive system. Sales of new items will start from December 15th, 2022, the press service of the automaker reports. The intelligent control system automatically switches 2WD/4WD in real time according to road conditions and driver intentions, and adjusts the torque distribution on the front and rear axles.

The modern TorqueonDemand AWD system is controlled by an electromagnetic multi-plate clutch and has a high response speed of 0.07 seconds when switching to all-wheel drive mode. All-wheel drive is activated when starting off and during acceleration of the car, in the presence of the slightest wheel slip, during side skidding and in other similar situations.

6 driving modes provide a range of basic options that take into account the peculiarities of Russian roads and climate: Eco / Comfort / Sport / Snow / Ground / 4x4. For the first time, the EXEED LX will have a 1.6 TGDI engine with 150 hp (275 Nm), which is already familiar in the Russian market by the older model - the mid-size TXL SUV. It works in conjunction with a 7-speed DCT robotic transmission with paddle shifters. Acceleration of EXEED LX to 100 km / h takes 10.2 seconds.
