LADA Niva Travel became the market leader in the SUV segment for the first time in November 2022

The bestseller in the SUV segment in the Russian market in November was SUV LADA Niva Travel. Last month, 3308 buyers chose this model, which is 76.5% higher than a year ago, experts of the AUTOSTAT agency reported with the reference to the data of JSC "PPK"*. Crossover Chery Tiggo 7 PRO found 3192 owners, which is 3.2 times higher than the previous year. Demand for LADA Niva Legend SUV grew 2.4 times to 2824 vehicles.

Chinese compact crossovers Haval Jolion (2166 units, +34.3%) and Geely Coolray (1611 units, +69%) are the next. The TOP-10 of the most popular SUV models in November also included Chery Tiggo 4 (1191 units, -21.6%), Haval F7 (1128 units, +6.4%), Geely Atlas PRO (1018 units, 2.3 times increase), Geely Tugella (709 units, 2.6 times increase) and Kia Sportage (706 units, -43.3%). We also add that in November, Russians bought 30,577 SUVs in total, which is 44.9% lower than a year before. For 11 months of 2022, this segment fell by 55.3% and reached 310,155 vehicles.
