Chevrolet Nexia sedan appeared again at Russian dealers

Russian dealers have started the sales of Chevrolet Nexia sedan 2022 delivered under the parallel import scheme. The price of the model is 1 million 119 thousand rubles, Rossiyskaya Gazeta writes. Under the bonnet of the car there is a 1.5-liter engine with 106 hp, which works in conjunction with an automatic transmission. Recall that in March 2022, UzAuto Motors stopped the deliveries of mass-produced Chevrolet models to Russia in order not to fall under US sanctions.

In our country, Chevrolet Spark, Nexia and Cobalt were officially presented, which were supplied from factories in Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. As AUTOSTAT previously reported, UzAuto Motors will stop the production of Chevrolet Spark subcompact hatchback and Chevrolet Nexia sedan by the end of 2022. This decision is explained by the fact that the company is gradually transferring its capacities to new models on the GM GEM platform. These include the Chevrolet Tracker compact crossover and the Chevrolet Onix sedan.
