AVTOVAZ plans to export 20,000 LADA cars in 2023

AVTOVAZ plans to export about 20,000 LADA vehicles in 2023, and Belarus and Kazakhstan, as well as, possibly, some other CIS countries, will become the main foreign markets for the company. This was announced by AVTOVAZ President Maxim Sokolov, by specifying that the export of LADA cars has not been suspended, however, deliveries of new series models with a minimized number of imported components will begin only the next year, the Prime agency writes. According to him, AVTOVAZ is ready to resume the production of LADA cars at the Kazakh plant "Saryarkaavtoprom" in Kostanay, where the supply of car kits was suspended in the first quarter of this year. In addition, AVTOVAZ is exploring new export markets for the supply of LADA vehicles, primarily to African countries.

Recall that the export deliveries of LADA cars were carried out in 17 countries of the world and in total they were 35.8 thousand units in total the last year (+9.4% by 2020). At the same time, LADA took a leading position in Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan, and in Belarus it became the No. 1 brand with a share of 24.9%.
