Production of luxury Aurus Komendant SUV has begun in Russia

On November 26th, Aurus Company began the mass production of the new luxury SUV Aurus Komendant at the plant in the Alabuga SEZ, where Senat executive sedan has also been produced since May of the previous year. The novelty is already available for pre-order at Russian dealers and should go on sale in the first quarter of 2023 at a price of 33.7 million rubles, according to the press service of the automaker. Created on a single modular platform, like all Aurus cars, the new crossover features by shorter overhangs and a wheelbase in compare with Senat sedan, which added to its maneuverability and controllability.

At the same time, Aurus Komendant received an adaptive air suspension that provides optimal ground clearance for each type of road surface (from 200 to 260 mm). Under the bonnet of Aurus Komendant is a 4.4-liter V8 Twin-turbo engine with 598 hp and 880 Nm of torque, which works in conjunction with a 9-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel drive system. With such a power unit, the acceleration to “hundreds” takes the SUV 6.5 seconds, and the maximum speed is 220 km/h.

As Avtodom Group of Companies expects, buyers of the AurusKomendant crossover will be customers who are accustomed to a high level of service, status and can afford to buy any premium SUV.
