According to the results of a survey conducted in October of 2022 by AUTOSTAT and Za Rulem agencies, almost 80% of respondents reported that they were not ready to buy electric vehicles. According to the results of another online survey, conducted already in November, to the question: "What circumstances can contribute to make such a purchase?" the most popular answers were: cost reduction (54.1%) or growth of the charging station network (49.7%). Other reasons cited were reduced maintenance costs, increased range, increased battery capacity, reduced charging time, etc. In Russia, the number of charging stations is growing. Kirill Zhanaydarov, Head of the Transport Department of the Skolkovo Foundation, recalled this at the forum. In the world, electric transport is developing at a rapid pace.
As of June 2022, almost 4 million charging stations have been installed in China, more than 140 thousand in the USA, and more than 330 thousand in the EU countries. And everywhere there are global development plans. According to 2chargers.net, there are 4367 charge points in Russia, among which 3679 are slow charging points, 688 are fast charging points. There are almost 20 thousand users on them. The most popular days for charging are Tuesday, Wednesday. Average slow charging time is 1 hour 36 minutes, fast charging is 54 minutes. Currently, the leaders in alternating current stations (slow charging) are: Moscow Region (630 units), Moscow (360 units), Krasnodar Territory (220 units). In terms of DC stations, the leaders are as follows: Moscow (68 units), Krasnoyarsk Territory (51 units), Primorsky Territory (45 units). These stations are fast (from 50 kW), which allow you to charge the car up to 80% for 40-50 minutes. The average bill at charging stations is growing. The most popular time for charging cars is from 11 am to 5 pm. Some experts believe that if Russia fails to develop the electric vehicle industry in 2-3 years, it will be lost to the country's economy.
Within the framework of the government Concept, the plans are: from 2021 to 2024 - to build 2,900 fast and 9,400 slow charging stations in Russia, from 2025 to 2030 - 72,000 fast and 28,000 slow stations. State subsidies were signed for the construction of charging stations in selected 12 pilot regions and the M4 Don highway: as part of this, 1.37 billion rubles were allocated in 2022 to subsidize the installation of 493 stations of a certain standard.
