UAZ «Profi» lost two basic options

Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant has once again simplified the assembly of UAZ Profi trucks. From now on, on-board "Profi" cannot be bought with a driver's airbag and cruise control - these options are only available for more expensive vans with add-ons. According to the Motor.ru portal, buyers of onboard Profi can slightly reduce the price: the version with the Chinese BAIC gearbox costs 25,000 rubles cheaper.

All-wheel drive trucks can be purchased without auxiliary electronic braking systems ABS and EBD, but the savings will be only 5 thousand rubles. The recommended retail price of the basic all-wheel drive onboard UAZ Profi with Korean mechanics is the same 1.6 million rubles, but such vehicles have single rear tires. A long-wheelbase rear-wheel drive truck with the same transmission and dual tires costs from 1 million 670 thousand rubles, an all-wheel drive version with a two-row cab - from 1 million 637 thousand rubles.

As previously reported by AUTOSTAT, Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant began to equip the Patriot and Pickup models with Euro-2 engines, which appeared on the UAZ Hunter off-road vehicle and cabover SGR family (old cargo series) back in September. Recall that Euro-2 standard was canceled in Russia in 2005, but now it is allowed due to a lack of imported components. For UAZ Profi, simplified engines are not offered yet. Currently, the model is equipped with a 2.7-liter ZMZ Pro petrol engine (150 hp), an alternative to which can be a similar gas-petrol internal combustion engine (143 hp).
