Production of electric crossover Evolute i-JOY began in Russia

The Lipetsk plant Motorinvest has begun the mass production of the new Evolute i-JOY electric crossover. This was reported to the RIA Novosti agency in the company's press service, by adding that the novelty is already being delivered to Russian dealers and is available for purchase. The price of the Evolute i-JOY is 3 million 490 thousand rubles, and taking into account the discount on the state programs of preferential car loans and preferential leasing, the new model can be purchased for 2 million 565 thousand rubles.

The Evolute i-JOY compact crossover is the 2019 rebranded DFSK Glory E3, better known as the Seres 3. The front electric engine develops 176 hp and 225 Nm of torque. Acceleration to “hundreds” takes 8.9 seconds. The battery with a capacity of 53 kWh allows you to drive about 405 km on a single charge. Recall that on September 28th, the Motorinvest plant in the Lipetsk region began the mass production of Evolute electric vehicles. The capacity of the enterprise allows the production of more than 100 thousand cars per a year, and its staff will be over 2 thousand employees.

The first model to roll off the assembly line was the Evolute i-PRO sedan, followed by the i-JOY crossover in mid-November. By the end of this year, i-VAN minivan will appear in the Evolute lineup. Next year Motorinvest will also begin the production of i-JET cross-coupe.
