Hyundai i30 hatchbacks and station wagons appeared in Russia

Some authorized Hyundai dealers are offering i30 hatchbacks and station wagons of 2022 shipped under a parallel import scheme. All delivered cars to dealerships are equipped with a 1.5-liter engine with 110 hp in combination with a 6-band "automatic". Prices for Hyundai i30 are from 1 million 900 thousand rubles to 2 million 188 thousand rubles.

The equipment list includes “pixelated” fog lights in the front bumper, alloy wheels, air conditioning, electric mirrors, heated front seats, a rearview camera and cruise control. The multimedia complex supports Apple CarPlay. It is worth noting that Hyundai did not announce its withdrawal from the Russian market, although it extended the downtime at the plant in St. Petersburg until December (according to some reports, production is being prepared for conservation).

Moreover, new Hyundai cars continue to be shipped from South Korea legally, and not through parallel imports. So, for example, at the end of October, a large lot of Hyundai Tucson crossovers was shipped to official dealers, which were valued at 3-4.5 million rubles. The main difference between cars imported legally and those that came to Russia through parallel imports is a guarantee. In the first case, the cars are covered by the official plant warranty, and in the second, they have the "cut down" dealer version.
