The share of LADA in the Russian car market has set a new record

For the period from November 7 to November 13 (the 45th week of 2022), residents of our country purchased 4,641 new LADA cars. According to the experts of the agency "AUTOSTAT" with reference to the data of JSC "PPK" *, this is 42% of the total market volume for the past week and is a record figure. Previously, the maximum result of LADA market share was recorded by the results of the 38th week of this year and reached 41.3%. As for the rest of the brands, in the second week of November, three Chinese brands immediately followed the domestic one: Haval (992 units), Chery (946 units) and Geely (783 units).

The fifth and sixth positions were occupied by Korean Kia (682 units) and Hyundai (564 units). In seventh place there is the Chinese brand EXEED (290 units), which is slightly behind the French Renault (287 units). In addition to them, Japanese Toyota (276 units) and Russian UAZ (233 units) are in the TOP-10. Every fourth car purchased during the period under review belongs to the LADA Granta family, the indicator of which amounted to 2764 units. SUVs LADA Niva Travel and LADA Niva Legend sold 733 and 605 units, respectively. And only then in the model rating there are the "Chinese" - Chery Tiggo 7 PRO (581 units), Haval Jolion (526 units) and Geely Coolray (440 units). Cars of the LADA Vesta family took the seventh place with a score of 365 units. Crossover Haval F7 (221 units) – is the eighth, Geely Atlas Pro (212 units) – is the ninth.

UAZ "Patriot" finished the top ten (178 units). Thus, it consists exclusively of domestic and Chinese models. In total, in the second week of November, 11,088 new passenger cars were purchased in Russia, which is 2% higher than a week earlier (from October 31 to November 6).
