UAZ «Patriot» and «Pickup» received the engine «Euro-2»

Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant began to equip the Patriot and Pickup models with Euro-2 engines, which appeared on the UAZ Hunter SUV and cabover SGR family (the old cargo series) back in September. Recall that the Euro-2 standard was canceled in Russia in 2005, but now it is allowed due to a lack of imported components, the Autoreview writes. Judging by the description, the regular 2.7-liter ZMZ-409051 engine for the Patriot and Pickup truck retained the same power (150 hp) and torque (235 Nm) when switching to a simplified eco-standard. Even passport fuel consumption has not changed: 12.5 l / 100 km in the combined cycle for the Patriot and 12.8 l / 100 km for the Pickup.

UAZ installs Euro-2 engines only in SUVs in the simplest Base Icar configuration - with an Icarus steering wheel (without an airbag), a Chinese BAIC manual gearbox, a classic transfer case with a lever in the cabin and steel wheels. Among the equipment – there is only ABS, power steering, power windows, electric and heated mirrors, audio preparation and central locking. UAZ "Patriot" Euro-2 costs 1 million 500 thousand rubles, and UAZ "Pickup" - 1 million 525 thousand rubles, that is, only 20 thousand cheaper than similar Euro-5 cars. The version without ABS is called Base Fleet Icarus, in this case the prices are lower by other 5 thousand rubles. However, for the "Patriot" Euro-2, you can still choose options.

For example, air conditioning costs 40 thousand rubles, rear differential lock - 48 thousand, and for 250 thousand rubles the Limited package is available, which includes a media system, climate control, heated front seats and windshield, rear view camera, alloy wheels and much more other. Air conditioning and blocking can also be ordered for the Euro-2 Pickup, but the Limited package is not allowed for it. Recall that the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant in the middle of summer brought to the market simplified models "Patriot" and "Pickup", which were forced to lose airbags, ABS, stabilization systems and other electronics.
