KAMAZ reduced the production by 14% in October of 2022

KAMAZ reduced the production by 13.8% in October, by producing 3,785 trucks. According to the results of ten months of 2022, 36,040 vehicles rolled off the assembly line of the enterprise, which is 1.5% higher than the figure for the same period of the previous year, the press service of KAMAZ reports. As noted, a key change in the production of trucks in the second half of 2022 was its reorientation to the production of all-wheel drive vehicles, including for the state customer. To fulfill the concluded contracts, the company used all available resources, including introducing a 12-hour work shift at certain production facilities with double overtime pay for the personnel involved.

As Sergey Kogogin, General Director of KAMAZ stated earlier, autumn is traditionally characterized by high demand for trucks, so KAMAZ faces a difficult task of increasing the pace of vehicle assembly in order to satisfy all market needs. To do this, the company carried out large-scale work to reconfigure production and adapt the supply chain to the new economic conditions. Today, the conveyor is steadily assembling trucks of both the K3 generation and the new model range - K4 and K5.
