New Volkswagen Multivan T7 became available at Russian dealers

Some Russian Volkswagen dealers have begun the sales of the new Multivan T7 minibus, which did not have time to enter officially our country, but arrived through its own channels of car dealerships. According to the Autonews.ru portal, today the new Volkswagen Multivan is available in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Bryansk, Lipetsk and other cities of the country.

Moreover, a number of dealers even offer a guarantee - but their own, and not the factory one. Recall that Volkswagen Multivan minibus of the T7 generation was introduced in Europe last summer and it is available in both standard and extended versions - the difference between them is 20 cm. In Russia, the model is offered with both gasoline and diesel engines of 2 liters, developing 204 and 150 hp, respectively. The transmission has no alternative - front-wheel drive and a 7-speed robotic box.

The new Volkswagen Multivan, after a generation change, retained its recognizable appearance, but at the same time added in size in compare with its predecessor. The novelty differs from it in narrower headlights, interconnected by an LED strip, as well as an upgraded bumper. The interior of the car is made in the style of the eighth generation Volkswagen Golf family. In particular, the new Multivan has the same combination of virtual instruments and multimedia touch display, combined into a solid screen half the length of the front panel.

The third row of seats with a solid sofa is replaced by separate seats with a lightweight design, which can be removed to increase the free space of the cabin. Finally, as with the original 35-year-old Multivan, the second-row seats can be rotated 180 degrees against the direction of travel so that passengers sit facing each other.
