AvtoVAZ will produce 500 LADA Largus cars

LADA Largus cars in a limited edition of 500 units will be produced at AVTOVAZ in mid-December. This was posted in the “Atypical AVTOVAZ” group on the VKontakte social network. The limited lot is related to the provision of the necessary components. It is expected that welding and painting production will start work on December 9th, and from December 12th to 16th, cars will be assembled on the B0 line.

Recall that, in addition to LADA Largus, LADA XRAY and cars under the Renault brand were assembled on the B0 line. Now this “thread” is being prepared for the start of production of LADA Vesta NG, which was previously assembled at production facilities in Izhevsk. The release of LADA Largus was suspended in March this year due to a shortage of components caused by a gap in logistics supplies. However, in July the limited-edition of 1800 cars was released. Earlier we reported that AVTOVAZ plans to release an electric version - LADA e-Largus.

The first prototypes of the electric van could be presented in late 2022 or early 2023. At the same time, an experimental lot should be expected no earlier than the next year. It is planned to assemble this model at the Lada Izhevsk plant.
