Aurus Komendant received the Vehicle Type Approval (VTA), which allows the serial production of the Russian crossover. VTA was published the day before, Rossiyskaya Gazeta writes. It is worth noting that at the beginning of this year, Aurus Komendant already received VTA, but then it was relevant only for one lot of 150 vehicles. It is already known that the serial production of domestic luxury cars is scheduled for the first quarter of 2023. Production will be organized at the plant in Yelabuga. The price will be from 33.7 million rubles.

Recall that the length of Aurus Komendant reaches 5380 mm, its wheelbase is 3100 mm. Thus, it is the most compact representative of the brand. The crossover can accelerate to “hundreds” in 6.5 seconds, and its maximum speed is 220 km/h. Such results can be achieved by the power plant, which consists of a 4.4-liter V8 engine with a capacity of 598 hp, a 9-speed automatic transmission and an electric motor with a capacity of 63 hp. It will be available seven options for interior design for buyers.

At the same time, the manufacturer promises a wide program of individualization. The rear row of seats can be either triple or with two separate seats. The cabin is provided with a climate system that allows you to set an individual temperature regime for each passenger, as well as reading lamps. Passengers have at their disposal a mini-bar with crystal glasses. For even more comfort, a fridge and heated/cooled cup holders are provided.
