Chinese trucks became the leaders in the Russian market at the end of October

According to the results of the 4th week of October, Chinese trucks became the most popular trucks in Russia, experts of the agency "AUTOSTAT" reported with the reference to the data of JSC "PPK"*. Thus, for the period from October 24th to October 30th (the 43rd week of 2022), there were bought 766 new trucks of Chinese brands in our country, which is 44.8% of the total.

In turn, the same indicator of domestic brands was 752 units (the share - 44%). Thus, "Chinese" cars became the leaders of the Russian market in this segment for the second time this year. Recall that for the first time this happened at the end of the 28th week (from July 11th to 17th). We also note that in the top-10 of the most popular brands in the new truck market, six positions at the end of October belong to the "Chinese".

But despite this, domestic KAMAZ (589 units) is the leader, followed by Shacman / Shaanxi (256 units), SITRAK (176 units) and FAW (137 units). Also in the TOP-10 there were: GAZ (87 units), MAZ (85 units), JAC (70 units), Ural (66 units), Howo (48 units) and XCMG (36 units). KAMAZ also excels in the model rating - model 43118 (205 units). In second place there is SITRAK C7H (176 units). In addition to them, the top-five included KAMAZ 65115 (132 units), FAW CA3310 (119 units) and Shacman/Shaanxi SX3258 (95 units).
