Stocks of cars of the flagship Vesta family run out at LADA dealers. This was told by one of the capital's dealers of AVTOVAZ and confirmed by the company "Pragmatika LADA Kupchino", which operates in St. Petersburg. "Yes, indeed, there are very few such cars left, although earlier it was practically a sales locomotive. If someone is planning to buy a highly equipped LADA Vesta, you need to hurry. There are few cars," notes Igor Bader, General Director of Pragmatika LADA Kupchino. In addition, according to him, there are almost no LADA XRAY hatchbacks left, "there are no more than two cars at the dealer’s site." At the same time, LADA Granta is presented in the maximum volume (both in pieces, body types, and in trim levels).
Depending on the region, this is from 50 to 60% of the dealers' stock. "Niva Legend and Niva Travel are being shipped steadily, they occupy about 25% of the volume of dealers' warehouses, and we see a very good demand for Niva Travel," added Igor Bader. Recall that in early June AVTOVAZ resumed the production of a simplified LADA Granta, in mid-July a three-door SUV LADA Niva Legend in a special configuration returned to the assembly line, and a month later the production of Niva Travel model was resumed. At the end of 2022 - the beginning of 2023, LADA Largus station wagon should return to the operation, and at the beginning of next spring, the production of the updated LADA Vesta will resume, and its production will be transferred from the LADA Izhevsk enterprise to the main AVTOVAZ site in Tolyatti - to line B0.
But AVTOVAZ decided to abandon the production of the LADA XRAY hatchback due to its heavy dependence on foreign components. In the second half of 2022, AVTOVAZ plans to produce almost 140,000 LADA vehicles, which is twice as much in compare with the first half of the year.
