Haval Jolion entered the TOP-3 of the most popular SUVs

According to the results of 9 months, Chinese crossover Haval Jolion entered the top three of the most popular SUV models in the Russian market, experts of the AUTOSTAT agency reported with the reference to the data of JSC "PPK"*. So, from January to September 2022, Haval Jolion was purchased in the amount of 11,031 units. According to this indicator, it is the second only to the Korean crossover Hyundai Creta (17039 units) and the French Renault Duster (12784 units).

At the same time, according to the results of 8 months, Haval Jolion was in the fifth place in the Russian SUV rating. But due to the September results, Chinese model was able to get ahead of the domestic SUV LADA Niva Travel and the Japanese crossover Toyota RAV4, which since the beginning of the year have sold 10,280 and 9,319 units, respectively. Experts of the agency "AUTOSTAT" believe that, taking into account the current market results, already in October, Haval Jolion, most likely, will overtake Renault Duster and take second place in the SUV rating for 10 months.

But it will be extremely difficult to catch up with Hyundai Creta by the end of this year - the gap of 6 thousand cars is quite large. However, Haval Jolion is the most popular "Chinese" car in the Russian market, which, moreover, is the only one of all foreign cars that falls under the terms of the state program of preferential car loans. Everything is possible, so we monitor the situation in the market.
