According to the results of the second week of October, 1,609 new trucks were purchased in Russia, the most popular of which was the Chinese one. This is reported by the experts of the agency "AUTOSTAT" with reference to the data of JSC "PPK"*. So, for the period from October 10th to October 16th, 2022, the SITRAK C7H model became the leader among new trucks, which sold 199 units. In other words, this is every eighth purchased unit. The second place in the model rating, slightly behind the leader, was taken by KAMAZ 43118, the result of which was 191 vehicles. Another "Chinese" vehicle finished the top three - FAW CA3310 (131 units).
In addition to them, two Kamaz vehicles, models 65115 and 5490 (130 and 99 units, respectively) also got into the TOP-5. Despite this, KAMAZ confidently keeps the leadership in the brand rating, which accounted for 34.3% in the second week of October. The second and third positions, with the same indicators (12.4% each), were shared by the Chinese SITRAK and Shacman/Shaanxi. Thus, during the reporting period, domestic and Chinese brands occupied almost 88% of the market of new trucks in the Russian Federation. At the same time, the share of Russian brands was 46.2%, and the "Chinese" - 41.5%.
