What cars did the residents of St. Petersburg buy in September?

In the Northern capital, LADA Granta continues to lead in the market of new passenger cars, experts of the agency "AUTOSTAT" reported with reference to the data of JSC "PPK" * for September. Thus, unlike Moscow, where the Chinese Haval Jolion is the leader, residents of St. Petersburg preferred the domestic model. LADA Granta was purchased there in the first month of autumn in the amount of 286 units, which is 5.5 times more than in September 2021. However, the Chinese Haval Jolion is already literally "treading on its heels."

Its result is 279 units (an increase of 5 times). In the third position there is another "Chinese" – Chery Tiggo 7 PRO (202 units). The TOP-5 also includes Geely Coolray (135 units; +19%) and LADA Vesta (76 units; -74%). As for the brand rating, as it turned out, St. Petersburg differs from Moscow in its preferences. The TOP-3 was headed by the domestic brand LADA (480 units), followed by the Chinese Haval (360 units) and Chery (306 units).

In total, the residents of the Northern capital purchased 2.7 thousand new cars the previous month, which is 66% lower than in September of 2021.
