AVTOVAZ extended the six-day work schedule until the end of 2022

AVTOVAZ has extended its six-day vehicle production schedule until the end of 2022. In accordance with the adopted order, from November 28th to December 25th, 2022, the Granta and B0 assembly lines will work from Monday to Saturday in two shifts, and the Niva conveyor - 6 days a week in one shift, follows from the message of the AVTOVAZ trade union organization. As AUTOSTAT previously reported, all enterprises and subsidiaries of the AVTOVAZ Group, including LADA Izhevsk plant, switched to a full 5-day working week from August 29, 2022.

At the same time, a 6-day work week with a rolling day off has been introduced at the AVTOVAZ car assembly complex in Togliatti. In the second half of 2022, AVTOVAZ plans to produce almost 140,000 LADA vehicles, which is twice as much in compare with the first half of the year. Recall that in early June AVTOVAZ resumed the production of a simplified LADA Granta, in mid-July a three-door SUV LADA Niva Legend in a special configuration returned to the assembly line, and a month later the production of the Niva Travel model was resumed.

At the end of 2022 - the beginning of 2023, the LADA Largus station wagon should return to operation, and at the beginning of next spring, the production of the updated LADA Vesta will resume.
