Belarusian car market in September fell by 90.4% and reached 374 cars. The most popular brand in the first month of autumn was Geely with 115 cars, according to the Belarusian Automobile Association (BAA). According to the results of nine months of 2022, sales of new passenger cars in this republic were 12,138 units.

Since the beginning of the year, LADA has remained the leader of the automotive market in Belarus, having sold 3,573 cars. As the BAA notes, during the period of sanctions and the gradual exit from the market (or temporary "freeze" of activities) of most brands, it is obvious that the lion's share of current sales of new (or almost new, with low mileage) cars is provided by parallel imports. The number of such deliveries may be several times higher than the official ones, so the real market volume may be 2-3 times larger.
