LADA Niva again became available with air conditioning and heated seats

AVTOVAZ started the production of LADA Niva Legend and Niva Travel SUVs equipped with air conditioning and heated front seats. The share of car sales of Niva Legend with complete sets with an air conditioning system is more than 60% and such Niva Travel vehicles have more than 80%, the press service of the automaker reports.

For LADA Niva Legend SUVs, the installation of air conditioners and heating of the front seats is provided for in the Urban, Luxe and [BLACK] trim levels of the 2022 model year. LADA Niva Travel cars are equipped with air conditioning and heated front seats in the Comfort, [BLACK] and Comfort Off-road versions of the 2022 model year. Recall that in mid-July, AVTOVAZ resumed the production of a three-door SUV LADA Niva Legend in a simplified configuration, and a month later Niva Travel returned to the assembly line. Both models are equipped with a 1.7-liter gasoline engine that develops 83 hp and 129 Nm of torque.

Cars are equipped with a permanent all-wheel drive system with the ability to lock the center differential and switch on a reduction gear range. According to the results of nine months of 2022, 10,280 LADA Niva Travel SUVs (-47.5%) and 8789 Niva Legend cars (-58.3%) were purchased in Russia, experts of the AUTOSTAT agency report with reference to the data of JSC "PPK" *.
