In September, it was bought more new trucks by 2% than in August

In September 2022, the Russian market volume of new trucks was 7,248 units. According to the experts of the agency "AUTOSTAT" with reference to the data of JSC "PPK" *, this is 2.2% higher than in August, but 13.5% less than it was in September 2021.

Leadership in the truck market is traditionally maintained by the domestic brand KAMAZ, which accounted for more than 37% of the total volume in the first autumn month that are 2686 units. In second place, with a noticeable gap behind the leader, there is Chinese brand Shacman/Shaanxi (1073 units). Three more "Chinese" - FAW, SITRAK and Howo (646, 452 and 398 units, respectively) were in the top five. Experts noted that for the year, the share of Chinese brands in the Russian market of new trucks grew from 10.4% (in September 2021) to 41.8% (in September 2022).

In the model rating, the first two positions in September are occupied by the products of the Kama Automobile Plant - KAMAZ 43118 and KAMAZ 65115, which sold 781 and 710 cars, respectively. Chinese models are the next in the TOP-5: FAW CA3310 (597 units), SITRAK C7H (452 units) and Shacman/Shaanxi SX3258 (442 units).

If we consider the results of 9 months of this year, then during this period, 58.7 thousand new trucks were purchased in our country, which is 19.2% lower than in January-September of 2021.
