AVTOVAZ stopped the production of LADA Granta without airbags

AVTOVAZ stopped the production of basic LADA Granta (except for the standard station wagon) in the Classic'22 version: a new starter kit Classic'22 Advance with two airbags and advanced equipment appeared in the price lists. Now the most affordable Granta in the sedan body costs 749.9 thousand rubles, the liftback will cost 769.9 thousand rubles, and the cross-station wagon - 818.9 thousand rubles, the specialists of the Auto Price website found out. The equipment of the Classic'22 Advance differs from the previous basic configuration of the Classic'22 not only by a pair of airbags: the new version also received an ERA-GLONASS module, heated front seats and an audio system with USB, SD-card and Bluetooth support.

Air conditioning is not provided, so the buyer will face a difficult choice. The fact is that for Granta sedans and liftbacks the difference between the Classic'22 Advance and Classic'22 Air conditioning trim levels is only 6 thousand rubles, so you either have to settle for an "extra" airbag and radio, or choose an air conditioner. In 2023, AVTOVAZ also plans to return the ABS anti-lock braking system and the ESP vehicle lateral stability system to LADA vehicles.

Recall that currently LADA Granta 2022 model year is equipped with a 1.6-liter engine with 90 hp adapted to run on AI-92 gasoline and 5-speed manual transmission. According to the results of nine months of 2022, 52,117 LADA Granta cars were purchased in Russia, which is 44.7% lower in compare with the same period of the previous year, experts of the AUTOSTAT agency reported.
