Chery Tiggo 7 PRO became the market leader in the SUV segment in September of 2022

The bestseller in the SUV segment in the Russian market in September was the Chinese crossover Chery Tiggo 7 PRO. Last month, 2224 buyers chose this model, which is 33.7% higher than a year ago, experts of the AUTOSTAT agency report with reference to the data of JSC "PPK"*.

Practically equal results were shown by Haval Jolion (2070 units, 3.1 times growth) and LADA Niva Legend (2054 units, 2.2 times growth). Demand for the Geely Coolray crossover grew by 28.8% to 1426 cars. LADA Niva Travel SUV found 1,030 owners, which is 30.8% lower than the previous year. The TOP-10 of the most popular SUV models in September also included Chery Tiggo 4 (882 units, -50.5%), Hyundai Creta (852 units, -83%), Geely Atlas PRO (762 units, 2.8 times growth), EXEED TXL (534 units, 3.1 times growth) and Geely Tugella (525 pieces, 3.6 times growth). We also add that in September, Russians bought 23,455 SUVs in total, which is 62.2% lower than a year before. For nine months of 2022, this segment fell by 55.9% and reached 254,867 vehicles.
