Pickup Great Wall Poer received a new package in Russia

Russian Haval dealers have begun the sales of the Great Wall Poer pickup truck in a new basic configuration with a manual transmission. Thanks to this, the model has become more affordable and is now offered from 3 million 449 thousand rubles - 150 thousand cheaper than when it was equipped with only an automatic transmission, the experts of the Auto Price website found out. Based on the configurator, a 6-speed “mechanics” is available in the basic Comfort version and, similarly to an “automatic”, is combined with a plug-in all-wheel drive equipped with an electronically controlled transfer case and a reduction gear. The engine has not changed - the same 2-liter turbo diesel with a capacity of 150 hp is paired with the "mechanics" and 400 Nm of torque, but fuel consumption has increased slightly.

In compare with the version with the "automatic" transmission, the pickup with the “mechanics” consumes 9.9 liters per 100 km (+0.4 l) in the combined cycle. In equipment, except for the lack of paddle shifters, there are also no changes. Basic Poers with any type of transmission have two frontal airbags, ABS with ESP, air conditioning, fabric trim, a rear view camera, a media system with Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto and four speakers, power windows, etc. According to PPK JSC, for 8 months of this year, the residents of our country purchased 341 new Great Wall Poer pickups. This is 2.5 times higher than in January-August of 2021.
