Car plant Moskvich began the formation of a dealer network

Moskvich Plant has begun to form a dealer network, by opening the acceptance of applications from potential partners in 23 cities of Russia. Dealerships are planned to be opened in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, Chelyabinsk, Samara, Rostov-on-Don, Ufa, Omsk, Krasnoyarsk, Voronezh, Perm, Volgograd, Krasnodar, Izhevsk, Naberezhnye Chelny, Saratov, Stavropol, Orenburg, Tyumen and Kemerovo.

In the future, Moskvich car plant plans to expand its dealer network to other cities, based on plans for assembling cars. As AUTOSTAT previously reported, Moskvich car plant plans to start the work by the end of 2022. About 600 cars will be produced this year, 200 of them will be equipped with electric engines. In 2023, the company will produce at least 50 thousand cars, and in 2024 - 100 thousand. The number of electric cars will be 10 and 20 thousand, respectively.

The full production cycle with welding and body painting is scheduled for 2024. It is planned to produce five models under the Moskvich brand: four crossovers and one sedan. Recall that the Moscow government and KAMAZ agreed on a parity distribution of shares in the capital of the Moskvich car plant and investments in its development in the amount of 5 billion rubles. KAMAZ will act as a technological partner of the project. A roadmap has also been formed for the creation of a Russian unified vehicle platform, on which the model range of the domestic passenger car industry will be developed.
