Used cars rose by 1% in September

The average price* of a used car in September 2022 was RUB 1 million 254.5 thousand. As the experts of the agency "AUTOSTAT" noted, this is higher by 1%, or almost 12 thousand rubles, than the corresponding result of August.

If we compare the achieved figure with what it was at the beginning of the year (in January), then the increase in prices for the "secondary" was 20%, or 206 thousand rubles. And in relation to the result of a year ago (in September 2021), used cars became more expensive by 1.5 times, or by 417 thousand rubles.

Naturally, depending on the model and age, used cars have risen in price in different ways. For example, a 3-year-old LADA Granta increased in price by 37% in average for the year, a 5-year-old Volkswagen Tiguan – by 48%, and a 7-year-old Toyota Camry – by 28%.
