The date of the start of production of electric vehicles Evolute became known

The official launch of the production of Evolute electric vehicles at the Motorinvest plant in the Lipetsk region will take place on September 28th. Rossiyskaya Gazeta writes about it, citing its sources.

Recall that the first Evolute model on the assembly line of the enterprise should be the Evolute i-PRO electric sedan, created on the basis of the Chinese Dongfeng Aeolus E70. Later this year, the Evolute i-JOY crossovers and i-VAN minivans (electric vehicles based on the Chinese Seres S3 and Dongfeng LingZhi, respectively) will appear. It is expected that already in 2023 the line of manufactured Evolute cars will consist of five models. The capacity of Motorinvest plant makes it possible to produce more than 100,000 vehicles per a year.

Meanwhile, the Evolute electric vehicles found their first corporate buyer. Thus, at the Eastern Economic Forum, the manufacturer Motor invest signed an agreement with Rus Hydro for the supply of electric vehicles for Green Crab carsharing, which has already been launched in the Primorsky Territory based on JAC iEV7S. In the nearest future, 95 Evolute will replenish its fleet - 45 crossovers, 40 sedans and 10 minivans.

Earlier it became known in which cities it will be possible to buy electric vehicles of the new Evolute brand this year. At the start of sales, the dealer network will cover 9 regions in the western part of Russia - they are Moscow, St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Krasnodar, Sochi, Kazan, as well as Voronezh, Rostov-on-Don and Lipetsk, where Evolute cars will be produced at the facilities plant "Motorinvest".

Recall that in March of 2022, Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the government of the Lipetsk Region and Motorinvest signed a special investment contract for the introduction of technology for the production of environmentally friendly urban vehicles based on traction engines. Planned investments by Motorinvest exceed 13 billion rubles for 11 years. It is expected that by the time the SPIC expires, the level of product localization will reach 5,000 points. Over 242,000 cars will be produced during the implementation of the project. Thanks to the implementation of the SPIC, almost 2,000 new jobs will be created in the Lipetsk Region.
