AVTOVAZ proposed to allow the use of maternity capital for a car purchase

AVTOVAZ President Maxim Sokolov, during a meeting on the development of the automotive industry in the Federation Council, proposed to allow legally the usage of maternity capital for the purchase of the first car. In his opinion, this will help increase the financial support of young families, as well as the sale of domestic car plants, the TASS agency writes. In addition, the head of AVTOVAZ proposed to introduce a legal norm for the presence of Russian-made cars for taxi fleets.

Recall that in mid-July, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia resumed the implementation of the preferential car loan program, under which the discount will be up to 20% of the cost of the car, and for cars sold in the subjects of the Far Eastern Federal District - 25%. All UAZ, LADA, GAZ models worth up to 2 million rubles participate in it. The offer is available to families with at least one minor child, doctors and teachers, as well as drivers buying a vehicle for the first time. In addition, the conditions apply to those who trade-in a car older than six years, in case that they have owned it for at least a year.
