LADA Vesta and Largus were recognized as the best in Russia

The results of the all-Russian voting "Car of the Year in Russia" were summed up, in which about a million people from 5 thousand settlements took part. LADA Vesta and LADA Largus traditionally became the winners of the National Car of the Year in Russia award in their nominations, the AVTOVAZ press service reports. Thus, LADA Vesta was awarded the title of "best car in Russia" in the "Small class" category. LADA Largus received two awards at once this year - in the nomination "Compact vans" and "Novelty of the mass segment".

According to the data of the AUTOSTAT agency and Electronic Passport JSC, for eight months of 2022, 27,669 LADA Vesta cars were purchased in Russia, which is 64% lower than the figure for the same period of the previous year. As a result, the flagship model of AVTOVAZ took the second place in the rating of the most popular cars in Russia after LADA Granta.

The station wagon LADA Largus was chosen by 10,669 buyers in the reporting period, which is 62.2% lower than in January-August 2021. It is worth noting that both models have not been produced since March of this year due to a shortage of components, and dealers are currently selling the available stocks of these cars. At the end of 2022 - the beginning of 2023, LADA Largus station wagon should return to operation, and at the beginning of the next spring, the production of updated LADA Vesta will resume, and its production will be transferred from the LADA Izhevsk enterprise to the main AVTOVAZ site in Tolyatti - to line B0.
