In the context of the suspension of the activities of automakers in our country and the cessation of official supplies of spare parts, Russian car owners may face problems servicing their cars. The experts interviewed by the agency "AUTOSTAT" told what ways to solve them exist, and how, under these conditions, it is possible to optimize the cost of car maintenance. These and many other issues will be discussed at the conference "Autoservice - 2022. Service, spare parts, equipment", which the agency "AUTOSTAT" will hold on September 27th in Moscow. "Difficulties currently exist in the segment of spare parts for body repair and sanctioned parts (dual use) due to the disruption of supply chains. Now, through parallel import channels, we have begun to receive the necessary spare parts for cars, in difficult cases, if necessary, we are ready to bring the original parts.

With this in mind, car owners are advised to contact the major market players: if official dealers use the parallel import channel for themselves, they know exactly where the parts come from - the channels have already been established. Official dealers still support the warranty in full and have qualified specialists who will carry out quality repairs. In the "garage" service, they cannot guarantee this," says Alexey Gulyaev, Deputy General Director for Service of AG AVILON. In turn, Igor Serebryakov, director of the after-sales service department at AvtoSpetsTsentr Group of Companies, notes that the cost of body repair parts for the first half of the year increased by 30% in average, the main role in pricing is played by the country of origin and delivery times that stretch for several months. "Now there is another problem in the Russian market.

Since we stopped checking the originality of the spare part at customs, we get an increase in the share of counterfeit goods. There is a simple solution to this problem - do not buy in unverified places. In general, I would recommend the buying of spare parts only in a car service," sums up the director and co-founder of the international network of car services FIT SERVICE Danil Solovyov.
