The first "live" photos appeared in the database of the Ministry of Industry of China and the main characteristics of the new EXEED Yaoguang coupe-crossover, which "grew" from the AtlantiX concept and, probably, under the same name, will enter export markets, including Russian. In the Celestial Empire, the novelty will go on sale before the end of this year, and it will reach your country in 2023. Length of EXEED AtlantiX is 4781 mm, width - 1920 mm, height - 1671 mm, wheelbase - 2815 mm. According to the first indicator, it almost repeated the current EXEED TXL (the length of this cross is only 1 mm less), and the distance between the axles is only slightly larger (TXL wheelbase is 2800 mm).
But the EXEED AtlantiX is wider and lower (TXL measures 1885mm and 1730mm, respectively). If we compare with models of more famous brands, then both "Chinese" are not far from, for example, Kia Sorento. Exterior design features of the EXEED AtlantiX include a coupe-like body, a frameless grille, narrow headlights with daytime running lights, retractable door handles, taillights made in the form of a single die and a bifurcated spoiler with integrated brake lights. For the new coupe-crossover, 18-, 19- or 20-inch wheels are provided (the TXL does not have 20-inch wheels). The interior of the serial EXEED AtlantiX has not been shown to date, but it is already known that the model will receive a scoreboard consisting of a virtual dashboard and a multimedia system touchscreen, each screen with a diagonal of 12.3 inches (the concept has a single display of 24.6 inches). Multimedia - with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 processor, 5G support and over-the-air update function. According to certification documents, there is only one engine for the EXEED AtlantiX so far - it is a 2.0 TGDI petrol "turbo four", which produces 261 hp and 400 Nm. The engine is combined with a classic 8-speed "automatic".
The novelty is also promised an adaptive suspension, all-wheel drive and a driving mode selection system (seven modes in total). And later, the model will have a rechargeable hybrid version, but there are no details about the installation yet. As AUTOSTAT previously reported, in addition to the new AtlantiX coupe-crossover, a sedan may appear in the Russian EXEED line the next year, the details of which have not been disclosed yet.
