AVTOVAZ announced the recruitment of new employees

AVTOVAZ announced the recruitment of employees for permanent work in working professions, as well as foremen. This follows from the message of the official trade union of the enterprise. The press service of AVTOVAZ confirmed the large-scale intentions of the company, without naming the exact number of vacancies. Recall that the company's plans to hire employees were announced last week by the president of AvtoVAZ, Maxim Sokolov.

According to him, we are talking "not about one thousand people." Currently, the number of employees of AVTOVAZ is 32.5 thousand people. As AUTOSTAT previously reported, all enterprises and subsidiaries of the AVTOVAZ Group, including LADA Izhevsk plant, switched to a full 5-day working week from August 29th, 2022. At the same time, a 6-day work week with a rolling day off has been introduced at the AVTOVAZ car assembly complex in Togliatti.

In the second half of 2022, AVTOVAZ plans to produce almost 140,000 LADA vehicles, which is twice as much in compare with the first half of the year. And next year, the production volumes may increase to 400 - 500 thousand cars, depending on the needs of the market.
