Russian Toyota dealers sold 8,514 cars in April, which is 3.3 times higher than the previous year. According to the results of four months of 2021, Toyota sales in the Russian market were 31,765 vehicles (+7%). As a result, Toyota ranked the sixth in terms of sales among all automakers in Russia, and the brand's market share was 6.2% against 7.2%, according to the AEB. Toyota's bestseller in April was the business sedan Camry, the sales of which increased 5 times and reached 3231 units.

The second place in terms of sales is occupied by the RAV4 crossover, which found 2941 buyers (an increase of 4.9 times). As previously reported by "AUTOSTAT", in April, Russian dealers of Toyota started the sales of the updated Toyota Camry business sedan, the production of which was established at the Toyota Motor plant in St. Petersburg. The novelty is available in eight trim levels at a price of 1 million 846 thousand rubles.
