All-wheel drive vehicle PAZ "Vector-NEXT" was presented

Atelier Avtouslugi from Pavlovo city (Nizhny Novgorod Region), as a part of the recent Army-2022 forum, presented the PAZ Vector-NEXT all-wheel drive vehicle. Then the novelty expects the certification, which will end no earlier than spring 2023. According to Autoreview, the estimated cost of the all-wheel drive Vector-NEXT at current prices is 7.5 million rubles, that is, the novelty will be one and a half times more expensive than a conventional bus. The new all-wheel drive PAZ is made on familiar units: the body is borrowed from the usual Vector-NEXT, the chassis, transmission and engine are from Sadko-NEXT.

There were some improvements: the wheel arches were expanded, protective plastic plates appeared, an original anti-roll bar was added in front, and air struts in the back, Motor.ru writes. All-wheel drive PAZ "Vector-NEXT" is a vehicle that is potentially in demand among rescuers, shift workers and social services. The cross-country bus is able to overcome 680 mm ford, and the ride height is 400 mm, so you can’t get into the cabin without a retractable footboard. Unification with GAZ Group trucks in terms of units is maximum: under the bonnet there is a YaMZ-534 diesel engine, a gearbox is a 5-speed "mechanics", with a plug-in all-wheel drive and a reduction gear. At the same time, the bus retained a corrosion-resistant composite body and the capacity of a conventional Vector-NEXT (22 seats).
