AVTOVAZ dealers expect the official start of sales of the 2022 LADA Niva Travel SUV on August 28th. This was reported to journalists by representatives of several LADA dealers, by adding that the cars will reach the dealerships directly only in early September. According to them, the recommended retail price for the updated Niva Travel will be 998 thousand rubles. Recall that AVTOVAZ resumed the production of LADA Niva Travel at the beginning of last week. The basic equipment of the 2022 model year SUV includes power steering, front electric windows, electric and heated exterior mirrors, the ERA-GLONASS system with a mechanical activation system, steering column height adjustment and LED rear lights.

The list of equipment for LADA Niva Travel 2022 model year is also supplemented with a steel crankcase, on-board computer, central locking and audio preparation. LADA Niva Travel is equipped with a permanent all-wheel drive system with the ability to connect a downshift and lock the center differential. Under the bonnet of SUV, a 1.7-liter engine with 80 hp is installed.

According to the data of the AUTOSTAT agency and Electronic Passport JSC, for seven months of 2022, 9018 LADA Niva Travel SUVs were purchased in Russia, which is 43.6% lower than the figure for the same period of the previous year. As a result, this model entered the top three of leaders in the SUV segment in the Russian market after Hyundai Creta and Renault Duster.
