The most popular Haval models became known in July of 2022

According to the results of July, 2,155 Haval vehicles were purchased in Russia, which is 35.9% lower than the previous year. For seven months of 2022, the market volume of Chinese brand was 14,723 cars (-20.8%), according to the data of AUTOSTAT agency and Electronic Passport JSC. The most popular Haval model in the Russian market in July was Jolion compact crossover with 1,162 vehicles.

The second and third places were shared by the updated Haval F7 crossover and F7x cross-coupe, which were chosen by 322 buyers each. The fourth result was shown by the new mid-size crossover HavalDargo - 254 sold cars. Recall that sales of this model started in June and, as Denis Tsepelev, the development director of Alarm-Motors Group of Companies, says, Dargo can take about 15-20% of the total Haval sales.

According to the expert, the key competitive advantage of Haval Dargo is its adaptation to the Russian market: an extended winter package, increased ground clearance, a powerful engine that matches the dimensions and off-road characteristics of the car, etc. The novelty will compete with other models of Chinese brands, such as Chery Tiggo 7 PRO and Geely Atlas Pro, as well as an alternative to non-Chinese "classmates" such as Toyota RAV4, Nissan Qashqai and Mitsubishi Outlander. According to the expert, Haval Dargo will take about 15-20% of the total Haval sales.
