In the second week of August, NEFAZ became the bus market leader for the first time

The domestic brand "NEFAZ" became the most popular in the market of new buses in Russia in the second week of August 2022. This was found out by the experts of the agency "AUTOSTAT" during the processing and analysis of the weekly data of JSC "Electronic Passport". Such an event can be considered unique, as NEFAZ became the bus market leader for the first time, although only for one week (from August 8th to 14th). Recall that this market is unconditionally dominated by the domestic "PAZ" with a share of over 40%.

During the second week of August, new NEFAZ buses were purchased in the amount of 63 units, while the "PAZ" vehicles were sold in a circulation of 53 units. The third place is occupied by the Russian brand "Volgabas" (33 units), the fourth - by the Belarusian "MAZ" (21 units), and the Chinese Yutong (14 units) finished the top five. The indicators of each of the remaining brands were no more than 5 units. Interestingly, PAZ has not been the leader of the Russian bus market for the second week in a row. So, in the first week of August (from the 1st to the 7th) this title was won by LIAZ, and also for the first time. PAZ even took the third place, letting Volgabas pass ahead.

But if we sum up the indicators of two weeks, then it remains the leader. Here is the alignment for the period from August 1st to August 14th: PAZ (106 units), Volgabas (87 units), NEFAZ (83 units) and LIAZ (67 units).
