Chery will bring to Russia an updated crossover Tiggo 4

Chery has announced the appearance in Russia of the updated Tiggo 4 crossover, the start date of which will be announced before the end of autumn. Information about the trim levels and the price of new items will also become known later, according to the press service of the automaker. The compact crossover Tiggo 4 PRO received a radiator grille made in the conceptual image of a 3D matrix of older models - Tiggo 7 PRO and Tiggo 8 PRO. Styling changes have also affected the front bumper - in particular, the daytime running lights are now made in the form of dual LED strips and are framed by a G-shaped trim element. In the "senior" trim levels, red accent parts are present on the bumper, side moldings, brake calipers, as well as interior elements.

For each vehicle configuration, an individual pattern of cast aluminum wheels is offered. The new Chery Tiggo 4 PRO will be available in the Russian market in five trim levels and three powertrain combinations. A 1.5-liter petrol engine (113 hp, 138 Nm of torque) is offered in a combination with a 5-speed manual gearbox or CVT18 variator. A 1.5-liter gasoline turbo engine with 147 hp goes only in conjunction with the CVT25 variator. The dimensions of the Tiggo 4 PRO crossover are 4318 mm long, 1831 mm wide and 1662 mm high, the wheelbase is 2610 mm Depending on the position of the rear seats, the luggage compartment varies from 340 to 1100 liters. The ground clearance of the crossover is 190 mm.

It should be noted that today the most popular Chery model in the Russian market is Tiggo 4 compact crossover. According to the data of the agency "AUTOSTAT" and JSC "Electronic Passport", for seven months of 2022, 4245 buyers chose it, which is 60% lower in compare with the same period of the previous year. As AUTOSTAT previously reported, in 2023 Chery will present in Russia the Tiggo 8 PRO crossover with a DHT hybrid unit, which includes three engines.
