AVTOVAZ resumed the production of cars with airbags

AVTOVAZ started the assembly of cars equipped with airbags. According to Avtogradnews, the first units of LADA Granta Classic'22 with "airbags" have already left the assembly line of the enterprise. In the future, there will be cars on the assembly line both with airbags and without this option, which will depend on the availability of the appropriate components. As AVTOVAZ President Maxim Sokolov reported earlier, the price of LADA cars with airbags will increase, but not critically: by 8,000 rubles for cars with a driver's airbag, and by 16,000 with two airbags, including for the front passenger. In 2023, AVTOVAZ also plans to return the ABS anti-lock braking system and the ESP vehicle lateral stability system to LADA vehicles.

Recall that in early August AVTOVAZ resumed sales of vehicles equipped with the ERA-GLONASS emergency warning system. From August 1st, all models of the LADA Granta and LADA Niva Legend families in the trim levels of the 2022 model year are equipped with this device, while the cost of cars remains the same. In addition, earlier AvtoVAZ resumed the production of LADA Granta family cars equipped with air conditioning, which account for about 80% of sales.
